Choice of User methods of operation - by your user!
Repair-IT-now has two modes of operation for the identification of problems selectable by individual users:-
1. Q & A scripts - a preset sequence of questions is presented to the operator that takes them down a diagnosis sequence leading to the problem identification.
2. Graphical - the operator is presented initially with a generalised floor plan of a dwelling with the various rooms and basic equipment that may require maintenance. The operator clicks on the one indicated by the caller, for example the kitchen sink. Then a more detailed diagram of the sink is sown with its various parts, the taps, water feed, drain etc. Finally the actual item requiring repair is identified - e.g. dripping tap.
At the end of the diagnosis the system delivers an identified remedy
to the repairs management system. This is then used to order the repair work
by your Housing Management system. It can also present the operator with warnings
for the repair agent and/ or advice for the caller about temporary measures
that can be taken.
Tailored to suit your operation
The system is aimed at identifying the top two to
three hundred repairs jobs that account for over 90% of all your calls.
These are then programmed in so that they can all be correctly identified
- first time every time.
In the event that your circumstances change or that one diagnosis
has been input to the system incorrectly, then it will be consistently wrong
